QUICK GUIDE

How to make a Wi-Fi QR code

A Wi-Fi QR code lets compatible phones join a network without typing the password. Enter the network name exactly, select the security type, and enable the hidden-network option only when the SSID is not broadcast. The network name and password stay in your browser and are never uploaded, saved, or shared by QRFoundry.

Local processing
Nothing you enter or upload is sent to a server, saved, or shared.

Use it in three steps

  1. Enter the exact SSID and password, including capitalization.
  2. Choose WPA/WPA2/WPA3, WEP, or no password and mark hidden networks when needed.
  3. Scan the preview on both iPhone and Android, then download a print-ready file.

Practical example

ExampleSSID: Studio Guest · Security: WPA/WPA2/WPA3 · Password: hello-world
Format limitsDevice support varies for enterprise networks and unusual authentication. Anyone who scans the code can recover the embedded password.
Common errorsCheck spelling and security type first. If the code scans but cannot connect, verify the router password and hidden-network setting.
