QUICK GUIDE

How to create a reliable text or URL QR code

A static QR code stores the exact text you enter, so it does not expire and needs no redirect service. Use a complete HTTPS address for websites, keep the destination concise, and test the finished code on more than one phone before printing. QRFoundry generates the code locally; your text is never sent to a server or added to an account.

Local processing
Nothing you enter or upload is sent to a server, saved, or shared.

Use it in three steps

  1. Enter a full URL or paste the text you want to share.
  2. Adjust the foreground, background, or add a small center logo.
  3. Test the preview, then copy the content or download PNG, SVG, or PDF.

Format limitsVery long content creates a denser symbol. Maintain strong contrast and a clear quiet zone. A center logo uses high error correction but should remain small.
Common errorsIf scanning fails, remove the logo, increase contrast, shorten the payload, and print the code larger.

Frequently asked questions

Do static QR codes expire?

No. The encoded content remains readable as long as the destination itself still works.

Should I include https://?

Yes. A complete HTTPS URL is clearer and safer for scanners.

Can I change the URL later?

Not in a static QR code. Generate a new code when the destination changes.
