QUICK GUIDE

How to scan a QR code with your phone camera

Start the camera only when you are ready to scan. QRFoundry requests the rear camera when available, decodes frames locally, and stops the camera as soon as a code is found. The complete content and destination domain are shown for review; links are never opened automatically.

Local processing
Nothing you enter or upload is sent to a server, saved, or shared.

Use it in three steps

  1. Tap Start camera and allow camera access when your browser asks.
  2. Point the rear camera at one QR code and hold the phone steady.
  3. Review the full decoded content and warnings before copying or opening a link.

Practical example

ExampleHold the code inside the camera frame with good light and all four corners visible.
Format limitsBrowser camera access requires HTTPS or a trusted local development origin. It may be unavailable when index.html is opened directly as a file.
Common errorsCheck browser permission, close other apps using the camera, improve lighting, and move far enough away for the code to focus.
