QUICK GUIDE

How to generate and validate UPC-A

UPC-A is a 12-digit retail symbol commonly used in North America. Enter 11 digits to calculate its check digit or enter all 12 to verify a number. QRFoundry validates the number locally, but it does not issue company prefixes or confirm that a product number is registered to a particular business.

Use it in three steps

  1. Enter the 11 data digits or a complete 12-digit UPC.
  2. Review the calculated or validated check digit.
  3. Export PNG, SVG, or PDF and scan a printed sample.
